HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid
You can make a difference by learning simple skills which will provide you with a better opportunity to save the lives of family, friends, workmates and others. In many industries a current Provide First Aid competency is required.
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies. The unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

This course consists of two delivery components:
Self-Paced Pre Study Workbook (Prior to face to face training and assessment day)
1 day of Face to Face delivery (first aid principles theory component and practical demonstration, training and assessment).
9:00am – 5:00pm
